Our Brand New Employee of the August!!

We have been receiving so many great new shoes in stock lately (especially styles for the coming Autumn season!!) that we have had to hire a lot of new people! For this month’s edition of Employee Picks, we decided to introduce you to one of the newest members of the Gotham City Online team, Jessica. She was hired at the end of April so she has been with us just 4 months but we think she’s fitting right in!

Jessica has been working at Gotham City Online for 7 years. She started at Gotham in the inventory department and worked her way up to her current position in business development. Since she’s such a hard worker, we decided to feature Jessica as our employee of the month for July!

She also let us know that, since she was having such a hard time deciding between shoes to feature in her picks section, she really should be allowed extra shoe choices… so I happily bowed to seniority

Welcome back to another Employee Pick! The first day of summer (June 21, also Father’s Day) is coming up fast and, for many people, that means vacation time: road trips, roller coasters, sunshine, the beach… whatever it is, you’ll probably also remember to take lots of pictures to capture the moment.

With that in our heads, we decided to introduce you to someone from our photo department who captures the moment before each pair of our shoes gets posted for sale – say hi to Nikki! As you have probably already seen, she’s great at making sure our shoe pictures are accurate and at somehow getting each pair to smile for the camera

Our May Employee of the Month Is All Smiles!

This is the third installment of the new Employee Picks section of our blog. The month of May always makes us think of the beginning of Summer; it’s when the warm and sunny days start to out number the rainy, April days. Well, this made us certain that only our sunniest employee could be our pick for the month for May. So we’d like you to meet Bonnie (or Miss Bonnie, as everyone calls her). Our April Employee of the Month Tells All

This is the second installment of the new Employee Picks section of our blog. It’s the middle of April and we’re so excited about our new store opening in Kentucky. The store will actual be pre-opening tomorrow, friday the 17th, in “beta” mode so we can make sure everything is running properly before the Grand Opening(!) – don’t worry, we’ll announce it here so you can mark your calenders as soon as the exact date is set.
