We were really excited when we received an email from a Gotham customer, Daphne Christensen, telling us that she planned on attending an event in Iowa on Friday, February 27, 2009 to benefit the American Heart Association as part of their Go Red for Women campaign. She wanted to make sure her red shoes from Gotham City Online arrived in time. We were happy to help ensure her shoes shipped A.S.A.P – and we wrote back asking for some pictures from the event, if she wanted to share. Luckily, she did! Thanks Daphne!

Daphne is pictured above with Val Whitehead, Miss Iowa 2009, whose platform involves promoting awareness for the American Heart Association and Go Red for Women. And Daphne also told us, “the event included a wine tasting, silent auction and lots of fun!”
